He started playing the guitar in a self-taught way and alongside his studies he joined two amateur bands: The Walkers and Los Bongos that played versions of the hits of that moment. When he finished his studies in 1968 he had an offer to join Tony Ronald’s band,which, back then, was the most a rock musician in Barcelona could ever dream of. He decided to accept this offer and take a gap year playing guitar before switching to Chemistry. That gap year lasts until today.
