OVATION COLLECTOR SERIES 1992

1992. Since 1982, Ovation has been annually producing a model within its "Collector Series". This is the one produced in 1992 and besides being a beautiful instrument it is very comfortable and its sound has an amazing power and body, both plugged  and acoustically. The feel of the neck is like that of an electric guitar.
The Lyrachord body is typical of Ovation guitars. The top is quilted ash wood and the central soundhole has been replaced by several smaller ornate ones. The piezo and preamp are simple but fulfill their mission perfectly. The neck is built with five mahogany and maple pieces and the walnut fingerboard has a radius of 10 ". A true acoustic guitar with feel of electric.
